My Capstone Project

Thousands of people are suffering from poor care and treatment-- or no treatment at all. I created this association, called Ease the Pain Association, to help these people get appropriate care and give long-term goals for each and everyone of them. We will need people to donate online, or participate in the volunteer programs, where they can be there for these people and give them appropriate care. There are limitations to anyone who can participate, such as age, indication of health problems, proof of eligibility to travel from a different country, etc.
This is one of my future goal: to help people around the world by making a difference. I want to be recognized and be known. I want to be the first in my family to travel, not just for fun, but because I want to help and want to experience each of the different kinds of places and communities around the world. Therefore, with this goal in mind, I will share my experience through this association and inspire people to join me to an exciting journey ahead.

About ETPA

Ease the Pain Association is a charitable and volunteer non-profit organization that helps people worldwide who are in need of assistance, goods, and services such as in areas where a huge earthquake, or any natural disaster has happened. They include doctors, medical assistants, and other health care teams who will check on them and give them treatment, prevention, and care plans. Moreover, anyone can donate and join in the volunteer programs and actually be there to help these people.

Some Common FAQs

Who is going to pay for our travel cost?

ETPA will gratefully offer a fully paid travel costs to move to the location where we are going to provide care. However, you are to pay for your own travel costs from your current location on the way to our meet up spot, such as a hotel, before we move on to our clinicals. Make sure to volunteer to a place where it is the shortest range to your home.

What are some restrictions to volunteer?

Restrictions to volunteer are as follows:

  • Age less than 18 years old and over 60 years old

  • Indication of health problems, such as heart and lung disease.

  • Fail to provide eligibility to travel to a different country.

  • Fail to arrive on the meet-up spot before you depart to the location of where you are going to provide care.

  • Fail to complete the volunteer form.

What are some benefits of volunteering?

Each of the volunteers will be provided an ETPA shirts for them to wear on the day of the clinical. When you volunteer, you are to give special care and treatment, therefore, you are performing an act of kindness and affection. You will be regarded as one of their hero, and that's just the most wonderful admiration you will ever receive.

What are some risks?

Traveling around the world and giving special care and treatments to people who we have no known sense of their condition thus far, we are at risks of developing any infectious diseases they possibly have. However, we are definitely prepared for these and will provide more than enough PPE for each of our volunteers.

When will be the beginning of your journey?

The beginning of this exciting journey is yet to be known. With the Covid-19, I am unable to fulfill any of my goals up to now. However, I am looking forward to starting this journey in the near future with friends and family as well as those who would like to join.
